From Jennifer: Based on the Museum of Words Flash Fiction competition where writers around the world could submit a 100 word story. This story could be written in one of four languages (English, Spanish, Hebrew and Arabic). The winning story selected by a global team of judges wins $20,000 and each of the three remaining runner up language winners win $2000. (http://www.museodelapalabra.com/en/short-tales-contest/4-edition) This competition closed November 23. We read through last year's winners, and brainstormed how to write a winning story. Then we wrote our own.
From David: This was an activity in two parts: Part 1: Write down a list of 25 things you are interested in. Part 2: Later in the evening, we came back to our list and had to circle the top five activities. The top five deserve our attention and focus. The others on the list are the top five's competition. We can have 5 finished projects or 25 half-finished ones. Your choice. Focus wisely.
