Boroondara Library are running events to celebrate National Family History Month. See the attached brochure, the last two in particular are interesting to writers wanting to hone their skills. Oral History… capture the stories before they are lost focuses on interviewing techniques and capturing someone’s life experiences. This workshop will be run by Way Back When Consulting Historians who are fantastic at presenting an interesting and engaging talk. Also, Writing a Non-boring Family History, presented by renowned children’s book author Hazel Edwards, will provide an excellent insight into how to write an engaging story.
