Entries for this year’s Boroondara Literary Awards competition close on Friday, 26th August 2016.
The Open Short Story Competition is open to any Australian resident who has a story of 1,500-3,000 words.
Prizes: 1st $1,500 2nd $1,000 3rd $500 and the Keith Carroll Award, being a $500 prize to the best entry from a Boroondara resident.
The Young Writers’ Competition, with Prose and Poetry categories, is open to all young people aged from 10 to 18 years who live, study or work in Boroondara.
